Knee deep in September!

Well our fall is in full swing with school and fall sports. The girls are in week two of school and we are doing great getting up and getting to school. We are in a routine that is going to be totally disrupted next week. I am going back to work next week and then we will have to make adjustments. Sean has been taking Jessica to school at 7:00 and then heading into work. I take the babies out to get Katie to school at 8:45. We are often in our jammies and just kind of take our time getting around after we get back. When I go back we will all have to ready at 8:oo so we have time to get the babies to the sitter, Katie to school and me to work. Should be interesting! Both girls like their teachers and seem to be settling back in like pros. Tonight AWANA starts for Katie and Jessica has already started her fall activities at church.

Katie has started soccer. Her first game is this Saturday, I have posted her fall soccer schedule to the left. Just to let you know, her last two games are at 8:00 in the morning and at that point in the season those morning games are freezing. If you want to get out to see her play you may want to try and get to one of the September games. All of her games are at the AYSO complex on Port Sheldon and 28th ave.

Jess has started practicing for softball. She and Sean have been practicing quite a bit here at home, but she had not been down in the crouch for a while. She was a little sore after her first team practice. Sean doesn't seem to think she will catch every game because they play multiple games a day during these tournaments. She has been doing all of the catching in practice though, so she should see alot of catching time. Her first tournament is in Kalamazoo on the 21st.

The babies are doing well and have adjusted to the girls being gone during the day. Allison went to Julie's to play one day last week while I went to the doctor. She really misses playing with Melanie so she will be excited to get back to the sitters next week. We are still dealing with Carson's eating issues. He just throws up so much. Yesterday I put cereal in every bottle and made him finish 6 oz. He had been getting up every 2 hours and that is not going to fly when I have to get up for work. Last night he got up at 2:30 and went back down until 7:30 this morning. It was wonderful! Hopefully we are on the way to sleeping through the night.

Hopefully Carson will let you get some sleep when you go back to work. We are looking forward to seeing you on Friday. Abigail is hoping Katie stays home. Love you guys!

Ok, Sara, this is too weird. How in the world did I absolutely miss that you were pregnant, much less had a baby boy???? Never heard a peep, until I happened on Charity's blog from Vanderzwaag's and then saw yours.

Congratulations! :) Better late than never I suppose. Hugs to you all!! xoxo Dorothy M.
