Quick Update

Just a quick update to let everyone know we are still alive and kicking over here. Things have been very hectic the last couple of weeks with softball and all of the doctor's appointments we have had to keep. Jessica plays the last game of her All-Stars pool play tonight against Hudsonville. She has played every night this week. After tomorrow night we will be able to see how the pool played out and if we will advance to the next round. Sean left for Milwaukee on Tuesday morning (via Muskegon and Detroit-long story, will fill everyone in later on how his ferry ride to Wisconsin sent him through Detroit), but with him gone it has been tricky getting everybody to where they have to be, when they have to be there...we have managed though. He gets back late this afternoon (we hope!) just in time for Jessica's game. Katie had her check-up yesterday and everything is clear. We have an ultra-sound scheduled for her on Wednesday next week, then we should know more of what is going on. Allison has been going with the flow pretty well. She has had a good week playing with her cousin Brooke everyday this week. She went to the ball game on Monday and was a nightmare, so she spent Tuesday's and Wednesday's game with Nana. It has been a hectic week for her too. I keep thinking things will settle down for her here in the next week or so, but not really, she is in for a real shocker when we bring the baby home. I'm curious to see how she will do. She was very jealous of my attention to Brooke on Monday, but has adjusted fine, but Brooke goes home every night, the baby won't! So far no early baby. I had a terrible feeling he would try and make an entrance when Sean was gone, but it looks like we will make it. I am definitely ready to go. This has been my toughest pregnancy, it seems that crazy things are happening to my body, one after the other. I guess when you have a baby at almost 40 you should expect your body to rebel.
