Happy Birthday Allison!

Well our baby girl is one year old! It is very hard to believe that she has been a part of our family for a whole year! Wow does time fly! For her birthday Allison spent the day at her babysitter Chris' house. She was showered with gifts and spoiled with attention as she usually is at the sitter. We are very thankful for the wonderful sitters we have for her. Many of you may remember all the trouble we seemed to have with babysitting with the two older girls. After a couple of very frightening situations we basically only felt comfortable when the girls were with our direct family. That was not always possible so we had to do alot of juggling around with schedules and jobs. For Allison we have been blessed with two wonderful sitters who truly love our baby. Last week I actually had them fighting over her for Friday. Julie takes her Monday-Wednesday and is always willing to take her again on Thursdays and Fridays if I need her. Her daughter Melanie is just two months older than Allison. They are truly the best of friends. They have bonded almost as sisters. Julie commented last week that she almost feels like they are bonding as twins. They have their own little language and can read each others moods and needs like they are really in sync with each other. They are so cute and quite funny to watch. On Thursdays and every other Friday Allison goes to her other sitter Chris. Chris took her all of last spring after she was born and I went back to work. She gets lots of love and attention as Chris' girls are at school all day. On the occasion that her girls are home she gets lots of love from Kaleigh and Tanniell . Both Chris and Julie go to our church so every Sunday Allison expects to see them and gets so excited when she does. She is such a social little girl, I crack up when I see her get excited when she see someone she knows and loves.

We celebrated her birthday in a big way on Sunday with our family. Grandpas, Grandma, Nana, Aunts, Uncles and cousins were there. She was a little confused at first, thinking we were leaving her, but when she realized everyone was sticking around (mom and dad too), she turned into quite the ham and had a ball. She dove into her chocolate birthday cake like a pro and loved all her presents. She is totally into books and got quite a few new ones, she can't put them down.

We also celebrated our 10 year olds birthday on Sunday. Katie loved having her family there and seeing cousins she doesn't see alot of. It was good to see everyone...and Abigail finally got her Webkinz! Katie's party with her friends went great! Everyone she invited was able to come and they had a good time. They had pizza and cake, sang karoke and watched movies. They were actually asleep by midnight and that's always a good thing!

Spring is in the air and it can't come soon enough! We have lots of exciting things coming up so I will put up a new post with all those things!
