Jessica and Sean have left for the day, Sean drops Jess off at school before 7 am and then heads to work. I am taking today off and staying home with the babies and Katie. Katie woke up in the night with what looks like the flu. Carson woke up while Sean and Jess were getting ready so he and I have been hanging out together early this morning. He is finally sleeping through the night and it is doing wonders for the whole house! I feel totally renewed after a good night's sleep. He is waking up so happy and isn't screaming to start the day.
We have been snuggling this morning and he has been talking my ear off. His voice is so sweet and his laugh is adorable! I look at him and am still amazed that he is here! Ask me just 2 and half years ago what I would be doing this fall and I can guarantee that it didn't include spending the morning holding my three month old while my 19 month old slept upstairs. We are still in awe of these babies and what they have added to our family! I find myself just watching Allison play and listening to her talk and getting teary eyes...they are not supposed to be here. We talk about it now and cannot image our family without these two precious gifts.
We are enjoying all of the exciting things that Jess and Katie are doing and realizing that we will get to do them all again with the little ones...next time we will be 50, but hey a young 50 I guess.
Who knew I would have a baby girl at my college graduation? Who knew the next time we went to Disney World we would looking for a room big enough for six? Who knew that the house we bought with the intention of staying in forever would be outgrown in just six years? Who knew that Jess and Katie's chore list would include babysitting? Life changes so fast....we are trying to enjoy as much as we can because who knows where we will be just three years!

I think Jess knew. Remember Thanksgiving 6 years ago. She was so confident when she thanked God for her baby brother. We all wondered what she knew that we didn't
Who would have thought you and Mike would have the most kids? They will keep you young, and give our future kids some cousins close to their own age. Thanks for that.
BEautiful family, Sara!
I can't believe how big your kids are getting. I was looking at the pictures on Sean's facebook. When did Jess become a grown up? And Carson, he isn't a tiny newborn anymore. I wished we lived closer. We haven't been to any of the girls' games in years...very sad. You need to start putting bricks on their heads so they don't grow anymore.
