With the two older girls gone this week I am a mother of two again. At times I feel like I am in the twilight zone...."I've been here before!" It's not like I feel 10 years younger by any means, believe me! It is just crazy how these two little ones are so much like the older ones....it's crazy! All Allison is missing is the curly hair and she would be Jessica all over! She is crazy, energy, curious girl! She has been keeping me pretty busy this week. It makes me realize how much Jess and Katie actually do for me. I can't keep up with her....she is all over the place, getting into everything. And the attitude to go with it! When I look in her eyes and see her mind turning I feel like I have another Jessica all over again! Carson has demonstrated this week that he is Katie's carbon copy -with one small difference :) Not only does he look like her.. he has copied her newborn eating and sleeping habits. It took us quite a while with Katie to figure out her issues...didn't take me that long this time. He is on soy formula, and he doesn't get laid down until he burps at least twice. I am afraid we have a repeat of the tummy issues we had with Katie. He seems to have an upset tummy quite often, the soy seems to help, but he is quite burpy and spitty...inherited from his sister! He was at the doctor yesterday and they are no longer concerned about his weight loss from the hospital. He has gained a pound and a half in 2 weeks. His face is starting to fill out and he is pudgy in spots! The more he fills out the more he looks like Katie! He is definitely her twin...10 years later! He has his days and nights mixed up so Sean and I are running on very little sleep. Everyone says sleep when he sleeps...easier said then done! Allison only takes one nap and this week it seems to be running shorter than normal...naps during the day just are not happening for Mom! Last night did go better, but we broke the cardinal rule that we swore we would not break...he slept with us! I don't want to start something that is going to be really hard to break later, but we had to get some sleep and he seems to relax better when he is snuggling with us. We'll see what happens.
No news is good news I guess as far as the older girls go. I haven't received any mail from camp-no surprise! Jess did call on Wednesday because she had lost some money, but she said everything else was going great. Sounds like she is checking up on Katie every morning at breakfast, she reported that Katie was eating well and taking her medicine. They will be home tomorrow. Those of you who have been to camp know what Friday at camp is like. The reality that you are going home is starting to set in and a few tears may be shed. Hopefully when I pick them up tomorrow they won't be complete basket cases!

You're right! I can't believe how much Allison and Carson look like their sisters! The first thing I saw was that picture and I had the same thoughts before I even read your blog. That is too weird!
When I first saw that picture, I had to double check to make sure it was Allison, and Carson. They did look a lot like Jess, and Katie. It also reminds me of a pic Mom has of you and I. Make sure to post lots of pictures of the kids. I miss them so much!
Yeah, It is the Wright 6!
