Available for immediate release...the 2007 Ladies Retreat at Lake Ann Camp was a great success!!!!!! MIA this year was Sherri Elder...her presence was greatly missed. We had another great time staying up late, eating camp food and spending quality time together. Ken Rudoulf was our speaker again this year....he gets funnier everytime I hear him. New to this year's events were the "First Ever Debbie Downer Awards" and the "Nighttime Adventure".
Thanks to Bethany Kohn for naming our awards.....Great name B. This years award receiptants are as follows:
Priscilla White: Most likely to embrace the true meaning of "retreat" by not calling home.
Laura White: Most likely to skip chapel or workshops to bike.
Bethany Kohn: Most likely to completely bundle up in 70 degree weather.
Charity Nienhuis: Most likely to be sugar buzzing the entire retreat.
Sherri Elder: Most likely to be the first one up and ready both mornings.
Christy York: Most likely to cause physical injury in order to win a scavenger hunt.
Congrats to all the ladies....we look forward to next year's awards!!!! Nominations are being taken now.
We also introduced the "Nighttime Adventure" a nighttime tour of the campgrounds hosted by Sara and Laura, the offical camp experts of the 80's.
I have posted some pictures of the retreat from my collection....I would be happy to post any great ones others might have if you email them to me.
